After a 7 month long house hunt, I think I have finally found THE one. I’ve been searching all over Pune and being very picky and choosy even when it comes to daily things like clothes, you can imagine how long it must have taken me to settle for B.U. Bhandari’s Everglade. But Everglade won my heart the very first time I visited it. Why? Well, I did come across many good projects in my hunt. But if the location was good, the facilities weren’t. If the project was great, the location was…well...ahem. And if the project had everything I ever wanted, my budget wouldn’t allow it.

After all these disappointments, along came Everglade in Kharadi. These were 2-3 BHK homes, which also offered all the essential amenities. Initially I was a little apprehensive of the location. As far as I knew it was just a corner of the city. Then I did a bit of research and was amazed at the findings. Basic infrastructures like water supply and roads being given a makeover and vast stretches of barren land is being used for construction. This is leading to rapid development in the area.  Right from my college days I had wanted to live somewhere close to the happening hubs of Pune like Koregaon Park and Kalyani Nagar. And Kharadi fulfills this wish beautifully.

The many schools in the vicinity like City International school, Lexicon International school, and VIBGYOR International school will ensure that my kid doesn’t have to travel far. And for a weekend movie, E-Square is so close by. I probably would have liked to live in Koregaon Park itself, but the prices make it impossible. Kharadi seems to be the closest to my dream location.

Everglade gives me all the usual amenities like lift with gen back up, community hall, garden, play area, rain water harvesting etc. Even the floor plans look pretty good. I only wish the living room was a little roomier. Also they give vitrified flooring in all the rooms. I had always pictured the bedrooms with wooden flooring….so that’s one compromise ill have to make, or I might change it later on. What amazed me were the prices. So close to KP and Camp…and very affordable!!  Could I have asked for anything better? 

Overall, I’m quite pleased and satisfied with Everglade and most probably will be booking my flat next week.
